April Update

Are you a friend of Blewbury Players?

What are the advantages?

  • An annual event at Oak Hall House. In February, the Friends enjoyed a reading by the Players of an adaptation of Dickens’ The Haunted Man.
  • Priority booking for a minimum of two tickets for most events and performances.
  • Special event on opening night of the summer production at Orchard Dene Garden Theatre. Friends are served food and drink, before the play and during the interval, and are also invited to meet the director and cast.
  • Friends also receive regular newsletters and updates.

This is all for an annual subscription of £15. This is much appreciated help which has provided resources towards the costs of many things including the maintenance of the garden theatre, improving cast changing facilities, and various technical equipment.

Thank you to Julie Heatherington who has done such a wonderful job of being secretary to the Friends and has now decided to step down. Tracy Silverthorne has kindly agreed to take on this role. If you would like to become a friend please contact her via our Friends page.

In other news…

She Stoops to Conquer has now been cast. Congratulations to all and good luck with rehearsals.
